However, I think the card you bought is NOT that card but a predecessor card. There's a sticker on the back that says "non-upgradable" Here are some pictures of it. The ATI aati for it can be found here.

xclajm I followed ATi's instructions in an article to install it anyway but the ATi software it installed doesn't see it either. I know it's installed correctly because I got a program that detects PCI cards and it said it was there.

I have the ATI Xclaim VR card bought new in shrink-wrapped box; it is a 5-in-1 card, as it does 5 different functions. When I use the latest universal ATi installer to try and install it, it says no ATi retail hardware detected even though the card installed.
